While Stravinsky's Rite of Spring is being arranged and played everywhere this year (because of its 100th anniversary), and the riot during its premier is being reminded over and over again...
this concert the legendary Horowitz gave in Moscow in 1986 almost provoked another kind of riot - the audience were almost fighting to see his performance (Only 400 tickets were available to the public, while the remaining 1400 tickets were reserved for Soviet officials and elites. Students of Moscow Conservatory were cracking into the hall, Horowitz totally wowed Moscow)
He is so cute and sweet. Only Horowitz could do..
